Central Manchester Main Hall

The Main Hall is our largest room. The central area has room for 100 chairs, and the fixed tiered seating in the two balconies gives a total capacity of 300. If you’re holding an all-day event or conference here, we recommend a maximum of 150 people to avoid overcrowding the common areas.

The floor area is 15 metres by 8.5 metres.

These rates relate to the current year and are reviewed annually. They may be subject to an increase from 1 January next year.

Central area only:

£348 (day rate 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday)

£173 (half day rate 9:00 - 12:30 or 13:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday)

£49   (hourly rate* if booked less than one month in advance, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00)

£79   (weekday evenings, 18:00 - 21:15pm)

£34   (hourly rate*, weekends 09:00 - 17:00)

Entire hall:

£486 (day rate 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday)

£244 (half day rate 9:00 - 12:30 or 13:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday)

£69   (hourly rate if booked less than one month in advance, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00)

£134 (weekday evenings, 18:00 - 21:15pm)

£46   (hourly rate*, weekends 09:00 - 17:00)

*The cost of room hire at an hourly rate is rounded up to the nearest whole hour with a minimum of 2 hours.

Concourse area:

The concourse can be used for serving refreshments, displays, etc. There is a flat rate of £12 per hour to use the concourse.
